Poverty is a multi-headed problem - it strikes health, food, housing, and finances at once. Treating one front while the other three collapse is a temporary fix. So we don't choose between them.
The model
Each pillar reinforces the others. The goal is not relief for its own sake - it is a path back to self-sufficiency, where a household no longer needs us.
Care people can reach: clinic days, screenings, and treatment for conditions that quietly take livelihoods - like the cataracts our first field camp will treat in Skardu. A person who can see can work; a person who can work can rebuild.
First program: a cataract camp in Skardu, planned for fall 2026.
Reliable food for whole households, not one-off handouts. Hunger undermines every other form of help - a treated patient still needs to eat while they recover, and a family rebuilding a home needs meals on the table through the work.
Programs are scoped alongside health and shelter work in each region.
Homes repaired and rebuilt so families can stay rooted where they live and work. A sound roof is the platform every other kind of progress stands on - health, schooling, and steady income all start at home.

First field program
Our first field program restores sight in the high valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan, where treatable cataracts still end working lives. It is also where our reporting begins.

Once the camp runs, we will publish what happened and what it cost: patients treated, the cost per surgery, who our partners were, and photographs taken with consent. Until then, this page carries no numbers because there are none.
