Sethi Foundation is an American 501(c)(3) nonprofit fighting rural poverty on both sides of the world - the underserved rural United States and Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan - and proving where every dollar goes.
Why we exist
Rural poverty is a four-headed problem. We meet all four at once.
Health, nutrition, shelter, and financial pressure don't arrive one at a time. A missed clinic visit becomes a missed shift, which becomes a missed rent payment. Programs that address only one pillar rarely hold. We're built to address all four together, in the same household, at the same time.
One organisation, two worlds
A direct parallel pipeline between two rural worlds.
Rather than choose one side of the world, we apply the same four-pillar model in the underserved rural United States and in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.

High-altitude valleys in northern Pakistan - the region our first field program, a cataract camp in Skardu, is planned for fall 2026.
Dignity first
The people we serve are capable partners, not victims to be rescued.
We report what happened and what it cost. We show working clinics, shared meals, and rebuilt homes - the work, not the suffering. No pity framing, no guilt, no manufactured urgency. Anywhere.
