Our Approach
Where the money goes.
The biggest reason people hesitate to give is the fear that money can't be traced. We built the foundation around that fear: integrity by design, written into the bylaws - and proof you can inspect, in plain language.
Financial integrity
Proof before the ask.
Four commitments, each verifiable - not marketing claims.
501(c)(3) nonprofit
A registered US public charity. Our determination letter and EIN will be published on this site at launch, and are available on request.
Zero private inurement - in the bylaws
No board member or insider can privately benefit. This is not a policy; it is written into our founding documents.
A named, public board
Leadership stands behind the work by name and face. Board profiles publish here ahead of the fall 2026 launch.
Audit-ready from day one
Books are kept to independent-audit standard. Our first independent audit will be published after our first fiscal year - you will be able to read it here.
Words we will never use: "audit-proof" (no organisation is) or "100% of your donation goes to the field" (no organisation can honestly say it). Overhead is kept low and bureaucracy minimal - and the audit, when published, will show exactly how low.
Cross-border integrity
How a US gift reaches Gilgit-Baltistan.
For many of our donors this is the single most important question on this site. Here is what we can say today - and what we won't say until it is confirmed.
Step 1
Your gift enters a US 501(c)(3)
Every donation is received by Sethi Foundation in the United States, under US nonprofit law, and recorded in audit-ready books. You receive a 501(c)(3) tax receipt immediately.
Step 2 · Being confirmed by our board
The registered cross-border channel
The exact legal channel a donation travels to reach Pakistan - and who independently audits it - is being confirmed by our board right now. We know this is the highest-leverage answer on this site, which is exactly why we refuse to describe a mechanism before it is real. When it is confirmed, you will read it here first: the path of funds, the registered channel, and the independent audit that verifies it.
Step 3
Independent verification
Funds applied in the field - in the US and in Pakistan - are reported back against the four pillars, and the whole chain is subject to independent audit. Results are published, with figures, after each program.
The documents
Read the proof yourself.
These documents exist and will be viewable on this page. We list each one's honest status rather than a broken link.

Evaluating Sethi as a partner organisation? The same documents serve your due diligence - governance, legal status, and financial controls in one place.
Now you've seen how it works.
That was the whole pitch: the method and the money, in plain language. Give if it holds up.
